Ii. Background of the event

As the world's largest fishing country, China has built more than 300 Marine pastures, including 169 national Marine pasture demonstration zones, with 50 million empty cubic meters of fish reefs, covering a total of 3,000 square kilometers of sea area. Guangdong is a large Marine province, with the total Marine economic output accounting for about 1/6 of the province's total economic output. It has 4,114 kilometers of coastline and rich fishery resources. In addition, Guangdong also has unique advantages, providing rich Marine biological resources for the development of Marine pastures.

In order to implement the spirit of the Party's 20 major Congress, respond to the direction of modern national fisheries development, implement the spirit of the Central Document No. 1 in 2023 and the specific deployment of the Provincial Party Committee "1310", and promote the high-quality development of fisheries, the "2025 Guangzhou International Ocean Ranch Exhibition" is scheduled to be held in Guangzhou · China Import and Export Fair Hall from September 11-13, 2025.
