Background of the Event:

China is a major country in aquaculture, processing, circulation, trade, and consumption of aquatic products, with the world's highest aquatic product output; in 2023, the total national aquatic product output reached 71.1617 million tons; the total output of aquatic products in Guangdong Province reached approximately 9.2385 million tons. To further promote the high-quality development of the fisheries industry, respond to the national modernization direction of the fisheries industry, implement the spirit of the Central No. 1 document, and promote the dual circulation of international and domestic markets, the 11th Guangzhou International Fisheries & Seafood Expo is scheduled to be grandly opened at China Import and Export (Canton Fair ) Complex in Guangzhou on September 11-13, 2025!

As a leading event in the fisheries industry, the 11th Guangzhou International Fisheries & Seafood Expo, together with CIFE (Guangzhou) and the Guangzhou International Food and Ingredient Exhibition, builds a supply chain platform of over 100,000 square meters of food materials, gathering over 2,000 companies to participate, attracting more than 10,000 professional visitors, and is expected to have online and offline traffic of over 50 million person-times. Previous Edition Review

The last Guangzhou International Fisheries & Seafood Expo, co-presented with the Food Expo, was unprecedented in scale, with a total area of over 60,000 square meters. More than 200 people attended the opening ceremony, including key persons in charge of the provincial and municipal agriculture and rural departments, associations, enterprises, and representatives from various countries in Guangzhou. Exhibitors came from more than 80 cities around the world, with more than 2,000 exhibitors, including 508 companies focusing on the fisheries field; it attracted 53,886 visitors, with 500 media reports on the exhibition, and more than 100 aquatic product experts and professors participated. The exhibition also held 53 colorful on-site activities, including the China International Aquatic Products Trade Development Forum 2024 , the China Marine Ranching New Quality Productivity Conference 2024, the National Freshwater Fisheries High-Quality Development Conference, the National Mandarin Fish Industry Conference 2024 , the Greater Bay Area (Guangzhou) Aquatic Product Safety High-Quality Development Forum, China-Latin America Aquatic Products Trade Exchange Meeting, China-Malaysia Aquatic Products Trade Docking Meeting, China-Singapore Aquatic Products Trade Discussion Meeting, Sino-Turkish Food Trade Development Exchange Meeting, Wuhan Food Industry Investment Promotion Activity, CIFE & National Top Channel Product Selection Meeting, Tmall International Food Industry Investment Session, Turkish Comprehensive Food Special Docking Meeting, etc.
