Malaysia Market Analysis:

Census 2021 Sabah has a population of 5,700,040, making it the third most populous region in Malaysia after Selangor and Johor. Sabah has one of the highest population growth rates in Malaysia due to the high number of illegal immigrants entering from the southern provinces of the Philippines. (Aboriginal 31.5%/ Chinese 13.2%/ Malay 25.5%/ Other 4.8%/ Non-Malaysian 25%.)

Aviation Matters: The main airlines providing services are Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia. Almost every town has its own airport. The international airport is the second busiest in the country, with direct international flights to mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines and other places. Direct flights from China to Sabah are also increasing. Up to now, more than 10 Chinese cities have opened direct flights to Sabah, with more than 100 flights per week. Direct flights from Xiamen and Kunming to Kota Kinabalu will also be launched.

Jesselton 5 - | sabah government today formally promote the shabab agricultural development blueprint in 2021-2030, and plans in about 10 years, the agricultural sector to gross domestic product (GDP) contribution to double to 40%. More than 150 scheme participants have received funding under the first phase of the scheme, and thousands more young people will benefit from the scheme. So far, potential areas have been selected for the development of the project, including Guarabangyu, Guda and Guda Mauro.

Fisheries in Malaysia include fishing and fish farming. In fishing, most of the fish in the sea is caught and most of the fish in rivers is raised in captivity. Most fish raised in captivity are freshwater fish because they are easy to raise in lakes.

In the next few years, we will rely more and more on artificial breeding of fish to supply the increasing local demand and earn more foreign exchange, especially the ornamental fish industry can earn a lot of foreign exchange for our country.
