Exhibition introduction

The biennial Tokyo International Maritime Exhibition (SEA JAPAN) is a professional maritime exhibition organized by Infulman Japan Exhibition Company, which provides shipbuilding industry with ship construction technology, ship equipment and other related products and services, and has become an ideal place for the international maritime shipbuilding industry to show its strength. In 2018, there were 580 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions, with an exhibition area of more than 17,000 square meters, and the world's important maritime industrial countries such as Germany, Denmark, China, the Netherlands and South Korea all participated in the form of national pavilions. The three-day exhibition attracted more than 20,000 visitors, of which ship equipment manufacturers, importers, traders accounted for 31%; Shipbuilding and ship repair accounted for 25.6%; Ship companies, ship owners and operators accounted for 23.2%. During the exhibition, the conference also held more than 90 various technical exchanges to share the latest technology and valuable experience in the exhibition, various technical exchanges and other activities.

Review of previous sessions

Due to the impact of the new coronavirus epidemic, the 2020 exhibition could not be held as scheduled, and the last 2022 exhibition still achieved good exhibition results under the situation of the epidemic. A total of 350 exhibitors from 16 countries participated in the exhibition, attracting more than 18,000 visitors, and 661 exhibitors from 18 countries participated in the online exhibition, and the online exhibition has more than 70,000 pageviews. A small number of Chinese exhibitors have also overcome the difficulties of on-site participation, and achieved pleasing results.

Japan is one of the world's top shipbuilding countries, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI), Mitsui Shipbuilding (MES) and other shipping companies in the global enterprises have strong competitiveness.
