Supporting Enterprises to participate in overseas exhibitions

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, January 28, Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council presided over an executive meeting of the State Council on January 28, requiring the current economic and social development work, to promote the beginning of the economic operation; deployment of spring ploughing, to lay a solid foundation for grain harvest and stable supply of important agricultural products; to accelerate the recovery of consumption and maintain the stability of foreign trade and foreign investment, enhance the driving force for the economy.

The meeting pointed out that the current economy continues to recover, recovery. We need to implement the arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and The State Council, implement the guiding principles of the Central Economic Work Conference, stabilize growth, employment, and prices, and keep the economy operating within an appropriate range. We will fully implement the package of policies to stabilize the economy and continue measures, promote the construction of major projects supported by fiscal and financial instruments and the upgrading of equipment, and implement policies on VAT reduction and exemption for small-scale taxpayers and inclusive loans for small and micro businesses. We will unswervingly adhere to the "two principles", protect the rights and interests of private enterprises in accordance with the law, and continue to create a market-based and law-based international business environment. We will support the sustained and sound development of the platform economy. We will encourage enterprises to resume work and production quickly after the holiday, and make solid efforts to help migrant workers to return to work. We will make joint efforts to consolidate and expand the momentum of economic recovery.

The meeting pointed out that in view of the prominent problem of insufficient demand, we should seize the momentum to accelerate the recovery of consumption as the main driving force of the economy, unswervingly open wider to the outside world, and promote the stability and quality of foreign trade and investment. First, we will intensify and expand consumption. We will promote the full implementation of policies to help consumer service enterprises and individual businesses, and promote the bulk consumption of automobiles. We will organize a variety of activities to promote consumption and accelerate the recovery of contact consumption. We will appropriately increase consumer credit. We will make good use of the policy toolbox, support rigid and improved housing demand, and do a good job in building buildings. Second, we will adhere to the basic state policy of opening up and continue to introduce concrete measures to stabilize foreign trade. We will promote the resumption of offline domestic exhibitions and support enterprises to participate in the exhibitions abroad. We will implement policies on export tax rebates, credit, and credit insurance, and keep the RMB exchange rate basically stable at an appropriate and balanced level. We will support enterprises in making good use of the RJJAs to expand their markets. We will promote the further development of cross-border e-commerce and overseas warehouses. Improve the competitiveness of foreign trade. We will reasonably expand imports. Third, we will actively attract foreign investment. We will accelerate the implementation of the new catalogue of industries encouraging Foreign investment. We will support local governments in attracting local investment. We will make better use of the role of pilot free trade zones and other platforms. We will implement measures to facilitate cross-border personnel exchanges between people. We will continue to strengthen services for foreign-funded enterprises and accelerate the implementation of major projects.
