The 5th Myanmar International Fisheries and Aquaculture Exhibition has come to a successful end!

From May 26 to 28, the 5th Myanmar International Fishery Exhibition and Aquaculture Exhibition was successfully held at Yangon International Convention and Exhibition Center. The three-day exhibition provides an excellent platform for purchasers of fisheries in Myanmar. The exhibition has been successfully held for the fifth time and has become an important platform for foreign exchanges in Myanmar and even the surrounding region.

Myanmar is located in the largest country on the Indochina Peninsula in Asia. It is mountainous and has many rivers and densely covered with rivers. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south. Aquaculture and Marine fisheries have become the fourth pillar of Myanmar's economy and the fourth largest foreign exchange earner. Myanmar has a coastline of more than 3,200 kilometers and a swamp area of 500,000 hectares. The coastal natural conditions are superior and the Marine fishery resources are abundant. The total coastal fishing and shrimp fishing area covers 225,000 square kilometers.

Myanmar is rich in aquatic products. The organizing committee of Guangzhou International Fishery Fair led many Chinese enterprises such as Boshang Biotechnology Industry (Zhanjiang) Co., Ltd. to attend the 5th Myanmar International Fishery and Aquaculture Exhibition. Guangzhou International Fishery Fair Organizing Committee participated in the exhibition. Guangzhou International Fishery Fair has ten years of brand witness. The exhibition has been upgraded, focusing on the upper, middle and lower reaches of aquatic products, and is a trade platform of the whole industrial chain. Based on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and working with RCEP countries, the 9th Guangzhou International Fishery Expo will continue to integrate online and offline innovative development.

There are 300 exhibitors from home and abroad, 55% of which are domestic, others include Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, India, Indonesia and so on. More than 10,000 people from three major industries attended each session. There were more than 200 overseas visitors. During the exhibition, the organizer will arrange one-to-one exchanges between foreign exhibitors and representatives of domestic agents and breeding chambers of commerce and chamber of commerce (cooperation and technology), as well as visits to foreign farming, fishing and animal husbandry processing plants.

Myanmar has a long coastline with numerous inland lakes and rich fishery resources. On May 25, the Guangdong Fisheries Circulation and Processing Association and the Organizing committee of Guangzhou International Fishery Fair were invited by Myanmar Seafood Co., Ltd. to visit Myanmar.
